Information Letter re. September 2020

REMINDERS

School re-opens to pupils in Y1-Y6 on Wednesday 2nd September 2020. F2 Parents have all received a letter with details of their starting arrangements. F1 reopens week commencing 7th September.

There is a one way system operating in the school grounds which we kindly ask all site users to follow. In addition, we politely ask that only ONE adult accompanies a child to school. This is to minimise the number of people on the site.

The back gate WILL be open.

The bike shed WILL NOT be open. Please do not allow your child to cycle or scoot to school as there will be nowhere to store their bike/scooter.

Our new school uniform supplier is 'My Clothing' and uniform can be ordered online via their site or via this link https://myclothing.com/athersley-south-primary-school/18176.school

For COVID-19 updates please click on the Parents tab above and follow the link to Covid-19 communications.

Some of our amazing children and staff have worked hard over the last few days to create this poster in recognition of all of the Key Workers during the current crisis.

Welcome!

A very warm welcome to Athersley South Primary School's website. Children are at the heart of everything we do at our school. It is a happy, caring and stimulating place to be and we hope you will see through our website how our children and teachers work, learn and play together. I have the very great pleasure and privilege of working with fantastic children and enthusiastic and dedicated staff and feel very proud of the school and all that we achieve.

If after viewing our website you wish to visit our school, we are more than happy to show you around and to answer any questions you may have in order to support you in deciding your child's future.
